440 Gallery Presents: The 11th Annual Small Works Show

440 Gallery presents the 11th Annual Small Works Show beginning Thursday December 10 at 440 Sixth Avenue in Park Slope, Brooklyn. This annual juried exhibition features the work of artists from all over the country, but with the majority of the participants from Brooklyn. All works of art are 12 inches or smaller and represent a variety of media and styles, including painting, photography, sculpture, collage and mixed media.
The juror for the 2015 Small Works Show, Amy Williams, has made her selections. About the Juror:
For over 15 years, Amy Williams has been involved in the New York art world. She began her career as an art consultant for Dinaburg Arts, placing many artists’ works in the windows of Saks Fifth Avenue for Saks Project Art and in renowned collections worldwide. She spent several years volunteering as a technician for the Camera Club of New York, where she honed her craft as a photographer. She has exhibited her work at the 440 Gallery, Galerie de Multiples in Paris and was featured in the French Art Magazine, Frog. Ms. Williams has made art for over 20 years and continues to pursue analog photographic processes while spicing things up and venturing into video installation.
