Art Journal

2011 is off to a great start!  There are a few paintings that are close to completion and my patience to allow these pieces to unfold has helped. I also adjusted a few compositions after already starting the work. I feel confident that these changes have made the paintings much stronger.

Classes already started and the students I have this semester are really focused on learning how to conceptualize, process, and critique their paintings. It’s their energy and excitement for art that makes teaching so fun!
