It is all about spring cleaning for me right now. I have accumulated so much junk. Half the stuff I kept I can’t remember why. For example: I kept a pair of stretcher clamps that don’t work anymore and probably kept them in my tool bin for the last two years. So, in the spirit of cleansing I threw them out.  It feels great!

The monochromatic bird is developing. I cropped this composition the way I did to try and capture the essence of the bird in flight.  I have several other 11″x14″ birds that are probably going to be completed in about two weeks to add to my ever growing body of work.:) My works on paper which were a big excitement for me a few weeks back have taken a back seat to my canvas and panel paintings.

Here are some 60″x 48″ canvas I finished a few weeks ago. This June I am going to have a few paintings at “Eos”  and I think “Bird by Shore” would be great for that space.  I will probably decide that by the end of the week.

The painting “Yellow Bird” has been on my mind a lot lately.  I have decided to paint a  48″x60″ painting inspired by that 8″x10″ painting.

All in all I am feeling really good about the progression of this body of work.
