I just received wonderful news. One of my artworks was chosen for the Online Exhibition for a show called Women’s Rights: An Artist’s Perspective.
The exhibition is sponsored by UniteWomen.org in support of Women’s Rights and the passage of the ERA. A link to the exhibition will be posted as soon as it goes live.

The weather in LA was fabulous and the quality of the art work in the museums I visited was breath taking. A highlight of mine at the Getty was the sculpture garden to the right of the tram before traveling up to the main campus. Unfortunately, during this visit I did not make it to the MOCA but did get to visit LACMA. I was not disappointed with my choice. LACMA has an entire room dedicated to German Expressionism. The image of the sculpture grouping was a cellphone snapshot I took at LACMA. This is definitely a gem and a must see if you are in LA. The contemporary artworks there are just amazing.
The exhibition at Gallery 825 was a blast. The exhibition was so well attended that it was challenging just to view all the artwork being exhibited.
I am heading down to LA for the art opening of “Momentum” next week. The exhibition opens today February 17 and the reception is being held on February 24. Check out the digital catalog below that was created and posted on YouTube. If you are in the LA Area please swing by and say hi. My work can be found on page 110 & 111 at time 8:45& 8:46 on the video.
Momentum is part of ‘Momentum: 40 Years of the Women’s Caucus for Art’, held in Los Angeles, February 22-27, 2012. The Women’s Caucus for Art Conference is held in conjunction with the College Art Association (CAA) Conference.
