Ebb and Flow

This painting needed something else. I sat in my studio staring at it for so long waiting for it to speak to me. Then without thought or even pause, I started creating more depth in the waves and the piece which had been silent started to talk.

I love how this turned out. Art is a visual meditation. I know, when this piece finds the right home, the collector will feel the same pull I do and get lost in the depth of the waves.
