Successful Move!

Wow, it appears I have gone on a little hiatus from my artist blog. The move was successful and everything went according to plan which isn’t always the case. Even with that said it was still slightly stressful because I moved my entire studio and house at the same time across the country. Well, I’ve started this month off with getting my studio functional. I still need to make a few small purchase like a new pack of gloves but for the most part I am officially up and running. Currently, I am working on a 4ft x8ft painting. I am now in the initial sketch stage but I am really looking forward to seeing how this piece progresses over the next month.

As for inspirational museum trips I plan on heading over the Met to absorb the amazing creative energy from that museum in the next couple of weeks. I especially love the gallery that exhibits Pierre Bonnard’s work. There is just something about seeing his work in person that gives me goose bumps.
