The painting “Pigeons in Parking Lot” (11″x14-panel) has been on the brain this week. After staring at it for I don’t know how long I started to finally have some ideas about what to do with it. I decided to change directions with the color palette and to block out the form with different gray values. I know the painting is going to need a bit more attention before it is complete. However, I feel that it is starting to evolve into something substantial.
