I’ve lived on two coasts: the New England coast where I grew up and the fog-soaked hills of Northern California. They couldn’t look more different. But the longer I painted them, the more I saw what they shared: structure, balance, and a quiet order holding everything together.
That’s what I paint.
My geometric abstractions start with a real place and rebuild it from the shapes underneath. Each painting is built in layers of color and form, so it reveals more the longer you live with it.
Today I paint from my studio in Connecticut, creating original works for homes, collections, and public spaces. My paintings have been exhibited at the Museum of Contemporary Art Marin and the Mystic Museum of Art.
